The Smeal College RIIT Group supports the Business Building, technology classrooms and Executive Education spaces in Keller Building, as well as the Executive Education Building.
The Business Building is the largest academic building and the third largest classroom building on campus with 17 General Purpose Classrooms including a 150 seat Auditorium, six Smeal classrooms, five specialized research labs, one general purpose computer lab, 19 conference rooms, large Atrium and Foyer areas, an outdoor courtyard, and an outdoor terrace. In addition, the Smeal College has two 60-seat technology classrooms on the second floor of Keller Building and on the same floor, there is an Executive Education classroom and breakout rooms. Further, the College manages the Executive Education Building which is adjacent to the Nittany Lion Inn.
The primary purpose of these spaces is to support teaching and research and activities associated with those efforts. The RIIT Group manages coordination of Office of Physical Plant (OPP) maintenance and upgrades of these spaces. Additionally, the RIIT Group schedules, coordinates, and supports events and meetings for these spaces including furniture, technology needs, advertising/promoting your events.
