Learning Lab
The Learning Lab provides faculty and staff with a place to experiment with technologies to make them more productive in their teaching, research and professional careers.
The Learning Lab is located in the RIIT Group Suite (011). Its purpose is to provide faculty and staff a place to experiment with technologies that will make them more effective and productive in their teaching, research, and professional careers. Various units within the RIIT Group support the Learning Lab; simply let us know your plans for using the lab, and if needed, a support person will be available to assist you.
The Learning Lab has one Dell PC (Windows OS) and one iMac (Mac OS). Each is equipped with software to help you create engaging course content such as Audacity and Garage Band for creating podcasts, Camtasia Studio for creating screencasts, iMovie and Final Cut Express for editing video, and more. We also have microphones, headphones and other equipment to ensure that you'll have what you need to get started right away.
