Web Services

The primary way prospective students gather information to help them choose a university is via the internet.  It is also a key way the college communicates with many of our other key stakeholders, including corporations, recruiters, alumni, research partners, and current students.  The RIIT Group manages a number of dynamic web sites for the college, including the Smeal College web site, www.smeal.psu.edu.  Our web sites are used to improve customer experience, facilitate/streamline business processes, market the college, and to support research projects.   The RIIT Group manage all back-end systems including databases, and the content management system, and we also support over 100 faculty and staff members who contribute and maintain content on the college's web sites.
