The Smeal Lightboard, located in Studio B (011D Business Building), is the newest offering to our Multimedia Services for the Smeal College of Business. The Lightboard allows the presenter to write out and explain notes like they would in a traditional classroom setting, while also being seen on camera by the students. This technology is especially helpful for explaining equations and annotating diagrams. This technology is easy to use and no, you don’t need to know how to write backwards. We mirror the video in the editing process and the final result is what you see below in our examples. Anything you can write on a board in a classroom you can write on the Lightboard.
