Editing Your Faculty Directory Page

Please visit the Penn State Digital Dossier (https://www.digitalmeasures.com/login/psu/faculty/) to make updates to Personal Contact Information, Biography, Teaching, Publications, Research Impact and Media Mentions, Editorship, Google Scholar, and Personal Website information. Changes to this information will also be reflected in the Faculty Annual Report (FAR).

Publications, Editorship, and Research Impact and Media Mentions Privacy Controls

To adjust public visibility of items within the Publications click the 'Update Profile' link at the top right of your profile. Then click the corresponding button (Public or Private) next to the item. A red 'Private' button indicates that the item is hidden from public view and a green 'Public' button indicates public visibility.

Upload a Vita

Click the 'Update Profile' link at the top right of your profile. After you have logged in, a new tab 'Settings' will appear. Click that tab, then the 'Choose File' button to upload files in .doc, .docx, .rtf, .txt, or .pdf formats, and then click 'Submit'.

Set a Custom URL

A custom URL is a custom shortcut to your profile page. You would want to use this if you wanted a link that is easier to remember and/or type. As an example, a custom link could be directory.smeal.psu.edu/ablebaker vs. the default  directory.smeal.psu.edu/abc123

To set this, click the 'Update Profile' link at the top right of your profile. After you have logged in, a new tab 'Settings' will appear. Click that tab, input your new shortcut, and then click 'Submit'.

To make updates to your staff profile, please visit https://directory.smeal.psu.edu and navigate to your profile. Click the 'Update Profile' link at the top right of the page. You can make updates to Personal Contact Information, Education, and Personal Information such as autobiographical text and interests. When finished, click 'Submit'.
