Web & Applications

Many resources are available to the Smeal College for publishing online content and collaborating with users at a distance. The RIIT Group maintains and supports several platforms which can be utilized for deploying websites, blogs, learning content, document collaboration spaces, file sharing spaces, etc. For specialized projects, we offer consultation and development of custom solutions when possible. We provide and support tools for communicating with remote users, such as video conferencing and web conferencing. In addition, the University provides solutions for web conferencing, social networking, creation of personal web spaces, documentation authoring, etc. There are various online services, some of which are free to use, that may also be of benefit to faculty, staff, and students.
