Screencasts

Learn more about the digital recording of a computer screen output.

A Screencast is a digital recording of computer screen output, also known as a video screen capture, often containing audio narration. There are a variety of software package for screencasting (Camtasia, Jing, etc.). We recommend you work with us before attempting one of these on your own as there are multiple settings to configure that will ensure your final product is of acceptable quality and the file size is manageable.

The Multimedia Studios include two screencasting stations equipped with professional studio microphones and an interactive pen display which may be used for annotation and white-boarding.
